Background

Throughout my career, I have worked hard to represent my clients, while helping them preserve a workable relationship with the other party for the best interest of the children involved.

I graduated from Bates College in 1999, earning a B. A. in American Cultural Studies. From 1999 to 2002, I helped people without lawyers in civil cases before deciding to pursue a career in law. I graduated from the University of Arizona, College of Law in 2005, followed by a clerkship for a family law judge. For the next ten years  I served as a family law attorney at Merrimack Valley Legal Services and MetroWest Legal Services, both in Massachusetts.

I am currently an active member of the Maine Bar and the Maine Association of Mediators. I regularly serve on the roster of the Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Service and the State of Maine Judicial Branch roster of Guardians ad Litem.

I grew up in Cumberland, Maine, and lived in many places around the country before returning to Maine for good in 2011. When I am not working, I enjoy my two young children, getting outdoors, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
